Section 38(1) in The Maharashtra Land Revenue (Disposal of Government Lands) Rules, 1971
(1)The Collector may permit, the construction of steps, chabutras, bridges across drains for access, a balcony or any aerial projection over Government land on payment of an annual sum not exceeding 5 per cent of the value of the land used for such construction or below the balcony or other aerial projection as the case may be, subject to a minimum of one rupee.
