Section 20 in Karnataka Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2012
20. Award of Certificate.
(1)The school shall issue the Certificate of completion of elementary education to the child who has completed 8 years of elementary education before the last working day of the academic year.(2)The certificate shall contain details of academic progress of the child and specify its achievement in curricular and co-curricular activities. Academic Authority/ the DSERT shall design a model format and notify in the public domain.Part- VIII Protection of Rights of Children
