Section 6(a) in Appointments Committee of The Panchayat Union Councils (Election of Members) Rules, 1997
(a)Every candidate for election shall be nominated in the Form given in Appendix I by a member as proposer. There is no need for a seconder. No Proposer shall sign more than one nomination.
