ORDER
1. The Complainant filed an RTI application dated 27.03.2024 seeking information on the following points:
My Details Enrollment Number: 2250656130 Program: BAEGH (2nd Year) Regional Centre: Delhi 02 (29) Background Page 1 of 4 I was informed that my study center changed from Satyawati College (Morning) (Code: 29057) to PCTI (PC Training Institute Limited) (Code: 0731). This was reflected on the IGNOU Admission Details portal. Based on this information, I submitted assignments for the June TEE 2024 at PCTI on March 13, 2024.
Current Situation and Concerns I received an email from RC Delhi 02 Admissions stating my study center is now Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Code: 29067). Additionally, a CPGRAMS complaint regarding study center confusion resulted in a response stating my center is LSC-0729 (Swami Shraddhanand College). This constant change is causing confusion. Requests are as following
1. Confirmation: Please confirm my current, accurate study center.
2. Preference: I request PCTI (Code: 0731) as my official study center. I am comfortable there and submitted assignments there.
3. Update Records: To avoid confusion, please update my study center information on the IGNOU main admission website and IGNOU Samarth portal to reflect PCTI (Code: 0731).
I understand study center changes may be necessary, but the conflicting information is causing stress. I appreciate a swift resolution to ensure my assignments are evaluated properly and my studies continue smoothly at PCTI.
2. The CPIO replied vide letter dated 05.04.2024 and the same is reproduced as under :-

3. Dissatisfied with the response received from the CPIO, the Complainant filed a First Appeal dated 05.04.2024 alleging that the information provided was incomplete, false and misleading. The FAA vide order dated 12.04.2024 upheld the reply given by the CPIO.
4. Aggrieved with the FAA's order, the Complainant approached the Commission with the instant Complaint dated Nil.
5. The Complainant remained absent during the hearing and on behalf of the Respondent, D.P. Singh, CPIO, attended the hearing in-person.
6. The respondent while defending their case endorsed the reply given by CPIO on 05.04.2024.
7. The Commission after adverting to the facts and circumstances of the case, hearing the respondent and perusal of records, observes that the complainant informed the Commission through a letter dated 01.04.2025 that he wishes to withdraw the present complaint, as the issue has already been resolved. The same has been duly taken on record. Accordingly, the complaint is closed as withdrawn.
Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
