53. Delegation of Powers by the Director.
- Subject to the approval of the State Government, the Director may, by a notification in the official Gazette, delegate ale- r` any of the powers conferred upon him by or under this Act, except the powers which he exercise as Chairman of the Board to an officer or officers of the Education Department not lower in rank than an 'Additional Director of Education.
