Section 26 in The Dharmsinh Desai University Act, 2005
26. Pension and Provident Fund.
(1)The University shall, with approval of the Board, constitute for the benefit of its officers, teachers and other employees, in such manner and subject to such conditions, as may be prescribed by the Regulations, such scheme of pension, provident funds and insurance as it may deem fit, and also aid in establishment and support of the associations, institutions, funds, trusts and conveyance calculated to benefit the staff and the students of the University.(2)Where any such provident fund has been so constituted, the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925 (XIX of 1925), shall apply to such fund as if it were a Government provident fund.
