Section 1 in Karnataka State Commission for Women Act, 1995
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka State Commission for Women Act, 1995.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State of Karnataka.(3)It shall come into force from such [date] [Act came into force on 11.1.1996] as the Government may by notification, appoint.
