Section 7(1) in The Dharmsinh Desai University Act, 2005

(1)The Patron Trustee of the Dharmsinh Desai Foundation, Vadodara shall be the President of the University for life at his pleasure. He may at his pleasure designate any other permanent trustee of the trust to be the President of the University.
