1. The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus:
"It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly grant interim Regular Bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.451 dated 11.11.2023 Under Sections 302, 307, 326, 328, 201, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the IPC (erstwhile 103(1), 109, 123, 238, 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of BNS) and Section 72(A) of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill, 2020) and Section 42(a) of Prisons Act, 1894, registered at Police Station Farakpur, District Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. (Annexure P-1) on medical grounds, in the interest of justice."
2. Notice of motion.
3. On the strength of advance copy; Ms. Priyanka Sadar, Senior DAG, Haryana causes appearance on behalf of the respondent-State.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, while espousing the cause pleaded in the petition has relied upon order dated 06.04.2026 passed in CRM-M-17154-2026, to state that in a similar petition the petitioner (herein) was afforded the concession of interim regular bail for a period of two months from the date of his being released on bail.
5. Learned State counsel does not dispute the factual similarity of the petition in hand with the above said petition i.e. CRM-M-17154-2026.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the rival parties and upon perusal of the record; especially keeping in view the medical condition of the petitioner NAVEEN NAGPAL as recorded in the connected petition i.e. CRM-M-17154-2026, the present 2026.04.17 16:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment HIgh Court Chandigarh CRM-M-20769-2026 -2- petition is allowed and the petitioner is afforded interim regular bail for a period of two months from the date of his being released on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Ld. concerned CJM/Duty Magistrate. However, in addition to conditions that may be imposed by the concerned CJM/Duty Magistrate, the petitioner shall remain bound by the following conditions:-
(i) The petitioner shall not mis-use the liberty granted.
(ii) The petitioner shall not tamper with any evidence, oral or documentary, during the trial.
(iii) The petitioner shall not absent himself on any date before the trial.
(iv) The petitioner shall not commit any offence while on bail.
(v) The petitioner shall deposit his passport, if any, with the trial Court.
(vi) The petitioner shall give his cell phone number to the Investigating Officer/SHO of concerned Police Station and shall not change his cell-phone number without prior permission of the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate.
(vii) The petitioner shall not in any manner try to delay the trial.
7. In case of breach of any of the aforesaid conditions and those which may be imposed by concerned CJM/Duty Magistrate as directed hereinabove or upon showing any other sufficient cause, the State/complainant shall be at liberty to move cancellation of interim bail of the petitioner.
8. Ordered accordingly.
9. Nothing said hereinabove shall be construed as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case.
