Section 340 in The Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888
340. Additional information and the attendance of the person who gave the notice may be required.
- If the notice given under section 337 and the documents, if any, furnished under section 338 do not supply all the information which the Commissioner deems necessary to enable him to deal satisfactorily with the case, the Commissioner, may, at any time within thirty days after receipt of the said documents, by written notice, require the production of such further particulars and details as he deems necessary.
