Section 24(b) in The Inland Waterways Authority Of India Rules, 1986
(b)to receive daily allowance at the rate applicable to the highest category of officers in the whole time employment of the authority for the period of journey performed to and from the place of meetings of the Advisory Committee and the place of his residence.
