Section 34 in The Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India Act, 1997
34. Cognizance of offences.—
(1)No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act or the rules or regulations made thereunder, save on a complaint made by the Authority.(2)No court inferior to that of a Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a Chief Judicial Magistrate of first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
