Section 19(1) in Telangana Mining Settlements Act, 1956
(1)The Government may appoint an Executive Officer for a Mining Settlement, who shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules and bye-laws made thereunder be directly responsible for carrying out the purposes of this Act:Provided that in case no ExecutIve Officer is appointed for a Mining Settlement, the Medical Officer of Health appointed under sub-section (2) shall be deemed to be the Executive Officer of that Mining Settlement.
