Section 2(2) in The M.P. Gram Panchayat (Regulation of Sale of Meat and Preservation) Rules, 1998
(2)"Meat" means the meat of pig, lamb, goat, fish or hen etc. intended for the purpose of consumption by human or animal but it does not include cooked, salted or preserved meat.
