Section 60(a) in U.P. Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules, 2009
(a)every scaffold and its component shall be of good construction made of sound materials and free from defects arid is safe for the purposes for which it is intended for use;
