Section 1 in The Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961
1. Short Title, extent and commencement.
(1)This act may be called the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961.(2)It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh.(3)[ It shall apply to the smaller urban area or a transitional area, as the case may be, from the date on which they are notified as such under Section 5.] [Inserted by M.P.
