Section 199(1) in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955
(1)The following taxes shall subject to exceptions, limitations and conditions herein provided be levied on buildings and lands in the City and shall hereinafter be referred to as property taxes, namely:-(a)a general tax;(b)a water tax;(c)a drainage tax;(d)a lighting tax;(e)a conservancy tax.
