(1)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), the following persons in the order named shall be the legal guardian of a minor, male or female, in respect of his or her person and separate property, namely, father, mother, full brothers in the order of seniority, paternal grandfather, paternal uncles in the order of seniority, fathers mother and consanguine brothers in the order of seniority.(2)The husband shall be the legal guardian of his minor wife in respect of her person and separate property.
