Section 25(4) in Punjab Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(4)The inquiry must be completed within four months or within such shorter period as may be fixed by the Committee:Provided that the Committee may, in the interest of the child and for the reasons to be recorded in writing, extend the said period under special circumstances.
