Section 173(2) in The Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963
(2)Expenses in such cases by whom to be paid. - The expenses of any work so done shall be paid by the person aforesaid, unless the municipality shall, by a general or special order or resolution, sanction as it is hereby empowered to sanction, the execution of such work at the charge of the municipal fund.
