13. Maintenance of State register of driving licences in zonal office and head office.
- The State register of driving licences, as prescribed under Section 26 of the Act, shall be maintained by the officer-in-charge of each Zonal office who shall submit a copy thereof every month by the 5th day of the next succeeding month to the Join Director of the Transport Department specifically authorized in writing who shall consolidate and supply a copy of the same to the Central Government as required under sub-section (2) of Section 26 of this Act, i.e. a printed copy of the consolidated Register quarter wise by the 15th day of the next following quarter in Form 10.
