Section 30(1) in Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985
(1)If immediately before the day on which this Act comes into force in an area, there is in force in that area any law, rule, regulation or by-law having the force of law which corresponds to any provision of this Act, such law, rule, regulation or by-law, shall so far as it relates to any matter for which provision has been made in this Act shall on that day stand repealed.
