47. Maintenance and production of Records and Registers.
(1)Every employer shall maintain a Register showing the particulars of the building workers and a Register of contribution in such form as may be directed by the Secretary or other officer authorized by him.(2)Every employer shall whenever the Secretary or any other officer authorized by him requires in person or by notice in writing to produce the records in respect of the building worker, shall deliver such records to the officer concerned in time and if the records are not returned, the officer shall issue a receipt for the records so retained by him.
