(2)Save as otherwise provided and except the ex-officio members, all other members shall hold office for a period of three years from the date of their election or nomination, as the case may be :Provided that no person nominated or elected in his capacity as member of a particular body or as a holder of a particular appointment shall be member after he ceases to be member of that body or holder of that appointment, as the case may be.
