189. Obligation to pass the budget before the fifteenth day of March of the year.
- The council shall finally pass the budget estimate before the fifteenth day of March of the year to which it relate and forthwith submit a copy thereof to the Government. If the budget as submitted to the Government fails to make adequate and suitable provisions for each of the matters referred to in clauses (a) to (c) of sub-section (2) of section 186, the Government may modify any part of the budget solas to ensure that such provisions are made.
