This Court issued notices on the respondents with the direction to recover and produce the corpus.

In pursuance of the direction, the corpus has been produced. Her statement has been recorded by Registrar (Downloaded on 06/06/2021 at 12:11:23 AM) (2 of 2) [HC-274/2018] (Judicial). The corpus is major and has shown her desire to stay with Megharam and not to go with the petitioner (Mother).

The statement of the corpus is taken on record. Since corpus is major, therefore, she is set free to go as per her desire.

In view of the above, we do not find it to be a case of illegal detention, hence, the habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
