(1)When the interest of a bhumidhar in any land is extinguished under the provisions of this Code or any other law for the time being in force, the Sub-Divisional Officer may on the application of the [Gram Panchayat] [Substituted 'Gram Sabha' by U.P. Act No. 4 of 2016, dated 11.3.2016.] concerned evict any person in unauthorised occupation of such land and deliver possession thereof to the [Gram Panchayat] [Substituted 'Gram Sabha' by U.P. Act No. 4 of 2016, dated 11.3.2016.] in such manner as may be prescribed.
