For Petitioner(s) : Mr.Vikram Jain. For Respondent(s) : Mr.Ashish Sharma on behalf of Mr.Rajendra Prasad, AAG.

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK SHARMA Order 09/10/2018 Heard the counsel for the parties and perused the order dated 22.02.2018 of which contempt is alleged. It transpires that of the 24,200 square yards odd allotted to the petitioner FCI by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) on 21.02.1983 over 23,000 square yards of land has been handed over to the petitioner from time to time. It appears that steps under the JDA Act are being taken by the JDA against the encroachers over the remainder land, allotted to the petitioner.

Mr.Ashish Sharma appearing on behalf of Mr.Rajendra Prasad, AAG counsel for the respondent-JDA submitted that no sooner the said proceedings for removal of encroachers are (2 of 2) [CCP-1757/2018] completed, the possession of the remainder land allotted to FCI would be handed over to it.

In view of the aforesaid submission made, I would dispose of the contempt petition with a direction to the respondents to expedite proceedings for removal of the encroachment over the remainder land allotted to the petitioner. This exercise be completed within a period of 12 months.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
