Section 1 in The Bharat Hydro Power Corporation Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 1996
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bharat Hydro Power Corporation Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 1996.(2)It shall extend to the whole of Assam.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th November, 1996.
