Section 29(1) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998
(1)The Academic Council of the University shall serve as an advisory body of the University and shall have the right to advise the Vice-Chancellor and the Executive Council on all academic, research and extension education matters.
