28. Inspection of colleges and report.
(1)Every affiliated college shall furnish such reports, returns and other information as the Board after consulting the Academic Council may require in order to judge the efficiency of such college.(2)The Board shall cause every such college to be inspected from time to time by the inspection committee consisting of the Director who shall be the Chairman and such other members, as may be appointed by the Board in accordance with the regulations.(3)It shall be the duty of the inspection committee on the direction by the Board in this behalf, to inspect an affiliated college, and make a report to the Board.(4)The Board may call upon the college so inspected to take, within a specified period, such action as may appear to it to be necessary in respect of any of the matters referred to in section 26.
