This petition for writ is preferred by one Sri Ram Vachan son of Mahavir with submission that he is an active Member of "Andhkar Se Jyoti Ki Or Charitable Trust", a Society registered under Societies Registration Act. The Society is committed to "God Isa Masih (Jesus Christ)".

An allegation is made that police officers deputed at Police Station Kheta Sarai, District Jaunpur are interfering in religious prayers of the petitioner which is nothing but injury to the fundamental rights of the Members of the Trust as per Article 25, 26, 27 and 28 of the Constitution of India.

It is submitted that the petitioner espoused the cause before District Magistrate, Jaunpur, Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur, Deputy Inspector General, Varanasi and Inspector General of Police, Varanasi Range, Varanasi but of no consequence.

Having considered the facts stated in this petition for writ, we deem it appropriate to disposed of this petition for writ by directing the District Magistrate, Jaunpur and Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur to ensure that no interference be made by the Police Officers deputed at Police Station Kheta Sarai, District Jaunpur or by any other persons in legal religious activities of the petitioner.

With the directions as above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
