102. Transmission of progress statement of collections.
- A copy of the monthly progress statement of collections shall be submitted by the Gaon Panchayat to the Tehsildar on the first working day of the next month through post or special messenger as may be convenient. The Tehsildar shall get them consolidated for the Tehsil and shall submit a copy of the consolidated statement for the information of the Deputy Commissioner through the Revenue Assistant. If the total remittance reported by the Gaon Panchayat do not agree with the total receipts in the Tehsil, the Tahslidar shall get the discrepancy reconciled. If the discrepancy is not reconciled by the 15th of the month, the Tehsildar shall note it one the statement together with the steps taken by him in that respect, and submit the same through the Revenue Assistant for the Deputy Commissioner's orders. The Statement shall not be deposited till the final orders have been passed by the Deputy Commissioner.
