Section 49(a) in Criminal Court Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Patna
(a)Sessions Judges, in all cases in which they may convict of culpable homicide not amounting to murder, shall invariably mention in their remarks on the trial, the circumstances under which the culpable homicide was held out to amount to "murder".
