Section 18 in Tamil Nadu Hackney Carriage Act, 1911
18. Penalty for plying for hire without plate.
- If any hackney carriage stands or plies for hire without a plate or legible inscription as prescribed by section 16, the owner thereof shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty rupees.
