Section 1 in Jammu and Kashmir Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, 1997
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Transplantation of [Human Organs and Tissues] [Substituted 'Human Organs' by Jammu and Kashmir Act No. 45 of 2018, dated 13.12.2018.] Act, 1997.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.(3)[ It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint.] [Enforced w.e.f. 15th January, 1999 vide SRO-09 dated 08-01-1999.]
