Section 37(2) in The Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005
(2)Any amount collected by any person in contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1) or any amount collected by any person by way of tax or in any other manner not payable under any provision of this Act and not returned by him to the person from whom it was collected shall be liable to forfeiture to the State Government.
