Section 9(1)(b) in Tamil Nadu Industrial Township Area Development Authority Act, 1997

(b)the power to grant licence or any approval under the Tamil Nadu Public Health Act, 1939 (Tamil Nadu Act III of 1939) in relation to any industrial unit situated within the Industrial Township Area shall vest with the Public Health Officer representing the Public Health Department and functioning as a member under the control of the Authority.
