Section 96 in The West Bengal Factories Rules, 1958
96. Minor.
- When there occurs in any factory an accident to any person less serious than trooe described in rule 95 but which prevents or is likely to prevent him from resuming the employment in the factory within 48 hours after the accident occurred, such accident shall be recorded by the manager of the factory and reported by him in Form No. 18 as soon as practicable, but in any case with 72 hours of its occurrence to the authorities mentioned in clauses (1), (2) and (3) of rule 95. Such accidents shall be called in prescribed communications "minor accidents".
