Section 6(1)(iv) in The Rajasthan Municipal (New Pay Scales) Rules, 1975

(iv)A member drawing pay at the maximum of the existing Pay Scale for a period of two years or more shall have his pay fixed at a stage next above the pay fixed under clause (ii) of this sub-rules (ii).
