(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu [Hill Areas] [Substituted for the words 'Hill Stations' by Tamil Nadu Hill Areas (Preservation of Trees) Amendment Act, 1980 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1980).] (Preservation of Trees) Act, 1955.
