Section 16 in Manipur Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2014
16. Appeal against confiscation.
- Any person aggrieved by an order of confiscation under section 15 may, within thirty days from the date of communication to him of such order, appeal to the District Court having jurisdiction over the area in which the articles were seized and the District Judge shall, after giving the parties a reasonable opportunity of being heard, issue such order either confirming, modifying or setting aside the order appealed against.
