2. General Clauses Act, 1897, to apply to Acts of the Legislative Assembly of Tripura.
- Unless the context otherwise requires, the General Clauses Act, 1897, shall apply for the interpretation of the Acts of the Legislature of the Union Territory of Tripura (whether enacted before or after the commencement of this Act), as it applies for the interpretation of a Central Act.
