Section 13(1) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Service (Executive) Rules, 1973
(1)Subject to the provisions of Rule 5 of these rules, the post of Chief Municipal Officer in select Grade, Class I, Class II and Class III shall be filled by promotion as laid down in the Second Schedule.
