76. Duties and functions of District Panchayat.
- The District Panchayat shall have such powers and authority as the Administrator may, by order, specify, so as to enable it to function as an institution of self-government with respect to the preparation of plans for economic development and social justice and the implementation of schemes for economic development and social justice in relation to the matters listed in the Third Schedule.
