(2)Unless otherwise provided in this Act the office-bearers of Zila Panchayat shall hold office for five years from the date of the first meeting and no longer:Provided that notwithstanding anything contained in this sub-section an office-bearer of Zila Panchayat shall cease to hold office forthwith on his ceasing to be,-(a)a voter of the Gram Panchayat area within the district;(b)[x x x]
