Section 1 in The Jammu and Kashmir Registration of Contractors Act, 1956
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Registration of Contractors Act, 1956.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State.(3)[ It shall come into force from such date as the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, appoint in this behalf.] [Enforced w.e.f. 1st day of August, 1969 by SRO-378 dated 19-7-1969.
