1. An application has been filed by the petitioner, interalia, seeking direction to the respondents to pay at least amount of leave encashment forthwith, as petitioner's son is getting married on 16.02.2021.
2. Having regard to the fact aforesaid, Mr. Harish Purohit, learned counsel for the respondents assures that he would instruct (Downloaded on 15/01/2021 at 09:12:38 PM) (2 of 2) [WCP-65/2020] the respondent - Corporation to at least make payment of amount of leave encashment.
3. Mr. Purohit further maintains that the remaining amount shall be paid later as per petitioner's own turn, as many other retired employees are in queue.
4. In view of the statement given by learned counsel for the respondent - Corporation, the application stands disposed of with a direction to pay petitioner's entitlement of leave encashment on or before 31.01.2021.
