Section 4(1) in The M.P. Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1989
(1)Every Secondary Standard shall be verified at any of the Reference Standard Laboratories, in such manner and at such periodical intervals as may be prescribed under the Standards Act shall, if found on such verification to conform to the standards established by or under that Act, be stamped by the Laboratory-in-charge of the Reference Standard Laboratory.
