Section 3A(1)(b) in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats (Conduct of Election) Rules, 1965

(b)The Election Authority as may be appointed by the State Election Commission shall exercise such powers and to perform such functions in connection with the conduct of elections to the Municipalities/Nagar Panchayats.
